Information about Psychosis
You are eligible for the NORTH research study because you reported symptoms that are associated with an increased risk of experience of episodes of psychosis. Psychosis varies from person-to-person, but commonly involves hallucinations as well as odd, confusing, or distressing thoughts that are not shared by others in one’s environment. You also might experience difficulties with thinking, concentrating or remembering things, depression, anxiety, or difficulties with sleep.
NOTE: You are not being evaluated for a specific mental disorder as a part of this study. The best way to determine your specific diagnosis is a full evaluation from a licensed medical or psychiatric provider.
